From Colombia, Carlos' 2001 Audi TT Quattro Roadster
"Hello, Beau...
I am enclosing some more pictures of my Audi TT 2001,
roadster quattro, a little fun machine that gives me lots of joy...
Being 74 and with lots of free time, checking, cleaning or tearing apart that toy, it`s always a good excuse to stay at home.
I added the property title, just for you to see how different they are from those in USA.
The pictures also show some of my people and the surrounding area of my home, another reasons to spend good time at home.
Please feel free to publish or discard whatever you wish. I also wrote a short review of my shopping experiences with HERMES.
I am sure I'll be contacting you in the near future for more parts and your wise advice, because getting an old car in perfect shape
is a never ending job...your prices and excellent service are strong reasons for that commitment.
THANKS AGAIN, BEAU, and keep up the good work."

John and Little Jeb's 2000 Audi TT Quattro
"Thanks again for providing this service, it's awesome to find good parts at an
affordable price, so I wish you continued success in your business, car enthusiasts like us greatly appreciate it!
I'll be using some of the parts immediately and some of them are to hold as spares since parts are getting so hard to find, even from a dealer at this point.
Little JEB loves his little "zoom zoom" car!
I attached some photos of our TT for you to see where these parts will end up. It's a 2000 Audi TT 180Q 5sp manual that I picked up as a project car in 2007.
It’s more of a money sink than anything, but it’s a fun hobby. She's got a brand new, forged crate racing motor from Germany and rebuilt transmission.
It's completely upgraded to the APR stage III package that includes the turbo, injectors, high pressure fuel pump, and intercooler. Also have a 42DD 3" exhaust and
high flow cat, H&R coilovers and sway bars with adjustable end links, adjustable rear control arms, stage 3+ Southbend clutch and flywheel, all engine and
transmission mounts upgraded to billet aluminum/polyurethane VF engineering mounts, upgraded vented/slotted brakes and SS lines, O.Z. Ultraleggera 18" vacuum
cast wheels with Goodyear F1 GS-D3 tires. She's pushing around 330awhp right now and I'm working on upgrading the rest of the suspension to include front
bushings and control arms.
While starting this project, we decided to go with a pure white/flat black theme, so paint will be done probably this summer to make the
rest of the car white; when we pulled the engine transmission, we painted the engine bay white to make it match throughout. The wheels are flat
black and we'll also likely do the gas cap, side mirrors and maybe the spoiler in a flat black as well. I also have vented side fenders from OSIR
to install when we do the paint." |

Scott's 1998 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer
"Awesome condition, all the parts, fast shipping!!! 5 Star rating for sure.
Thanks for the product. I attached a few pictures so you could see the old running board compared to the one you sent. Up here in New York state they use salt on roads to help clear ice & snow. Problem is it destroys vehicles.
My Expedition is a 1998 Eddie Bauer. I bought it used in 2004. I've had some paint work done to it so it keeps looking good. It's been dropped 2 inches, 22" rims, different front end with fog lamps, JL Audio & RE Audio stereo system with an additional battery in the rear just for the stereo.
I'm very please with the condition of the running board you sent me because I try to keep the truck in the best condition I can.
Thanks again,
Scott" |
