Making sure that you receive your order quickly and undamaged is important to us. To do this we use a few different shipping carriers and the different services that those carriers provide. We follow a system of rules to select the best shipping service. This system of rules allows us to select a shipping method that will get your order to you quickly and undamaged while keeping costs down. These rules are based primarily based on size, weight, and the destination of your order. These rules will be explained below so that you will know how your order is being shipped and when to expect it.
Orders that are to be shipped through US Postal Service or UPS are shipped within 1 business day or less. Items that are shipped through a trucking company or Greyhound sometimes don't go out for a few days. We often have to crate or pallatize these orders as well as drop them off at a local terminal to get the best rate. Once your order is packaged and the label is made up we will email you with the tracking #. You may also receive an email from the shipping company and the payment processor with the tracking #.
You can view the shipping cost by adding the item(s) to your shopping cart and selecting your location. The shipping cost is based primarily on what shipping companies call dimensional weight. Dimensional weight takes into account the weight and the size of the package. If the package is large the dimensions of the package could greatly effect the cost of the package. We weigh and measure the parts and use the shipping services calculator to determine the flat rate. If you purchase multiple items at once, the shopping cart, in many instances will reduce the price on shipping automatically. |

Orders weighing over 13 Ounces and up to 3 Pounds |
| Packaged orders that weigh between 13 ounces and 3 pounds and not consider a large package by the postal service are generally shipped US Postal Service Priority Mail. Priority mail service take 1-3 postal days depending on your proximity to us. If the package is consider a large package by the postal service it will generally be shipped UPS Gound which is a 1-5 business day service. |
Orders weighing over 3 Pounds |
Packaged orders that weigh over 3 pounds generally ship UPS Ground. UPS Ground takes 1 to 5 business days in transit depending on your proximity to us. If the order fits in a flat rate box then it will generally ship US Postal Service priority mail which is a 1-3 postal day service.
Large items will ship Greyhound and on occasion US Postal Service Standard Post. Items that are shipped by Greyhound will have to be picked up at a local terminal. Greyhound terminals are generally close to most people and the pickup procedure is simple. If an item is going to be shipped Greyhound it will say in the desciption on the item page. Make sure to email or text us with your phone number if you are ordering an item that will be delivered by Greyhound. Someone from the Greyhound Terminal will call you when your order arrives. Greyhound takes between 3-15 business days to arrive but is generally less than 5 days. Greyhound has a maximum package weight of 100 pounds and a maximum length of 82 inches.
If an item exceeds the Greyhound maximum weight or dimensions then the item will be shipped Freight by truck. These items can not be ordered directly from the website. The website will direct you to contact us for a custom shipping quote. Contact us with your zip code and we will contact you back with the price and the closest terminal to you. Delivery by truck usually takes 2-5 business days. |
